Bagasse Sugarcane Biodegradable Compostable Oval 10″ x 12″ Plates (125)

This environmentally friendly bagasse tableware range is made using the dry fibrous residue left after sugarcane has been pressed for juice. The residue is pressed into shape in a high-heat, high-pressure process, resulting in an economic and sturdy selection of tableware which is more rigid in service than paper plates or bowls.

Sugarcane is also much faster growing than trees, which means that the use of bagasse for the manufacturing of paper makes it easy to reduce our reliance on harvesting wood.

Another great advantage of these bagasse plates is that they are suitable for use with hot, wet or oily foods, and are fully compostable after use.

Each oval plate measures 250mm x 300mm, and each pack contains 125 plates.
